It's a turkey farm. It's very noisy and chaotic. A lot of the staff are cold and indifferent. And you can't any staff when you need them. If you ding them with the call button, no one shows up unless an hour or so goes by and may never show up. My mother was in a room where her call button didn't even work. Also, I went in one morning around 8:00 to find my mother sitting in a wheelchair in their lobby without another human being even being in sight. At about 9:00, a nurse, etc. ran by acting like she didn't even see us. I yelled out to her that my mother needed to use the bathroom. She hollered back that she would be right back. But she never came back. My poor mother who will be 100 yrs old in a few short months, got so desperate to use the bathroom that she tried to get out of the chair, and since she's unable to stand up, fell out and hit the hard, tile floor, breaking her right shoulder which was on her weak side from a recent stroke. I wasn't there when this happened due to having to leave before 9:00. Also, the facility has a terrible smell about it. It is so strong that it slaps you in the face when you first open the door. He had heart problems and went to the hospital and they sent him there from the hospital. And I didn't know at that time, and nobody made it clear to me, that I didn't have to keep him there, and I thought he had to stay there. So when I finally figured out that he didn't have to stay there, I got him out of there because it was not a nice place. The administrative staff seemed to be OK, but I didn't have really good experiences with nurses. I went to visit my father at one time, and he was dirty. I told them, "You need to clean him up because his diaper hadn't been changed in a while and everything." I said, "You need to do something pretty quickly," and they didn't come. So about 45 minutes later, he urinated all over the floor and all over his wheelchair. So I went back to the nurse's station and I said, "Now you've got a bigger mess to clean up because you got to wash the wheelchair and you got to wash the floor." They should have listened to me. It was not a pleasant place at all. There were a lot of activities always going on, so I'd say the activities were fairly decent. It was pretty expensive. The place wasn't as clean as I would have liked it. When you first walked in, the smell was overpowering, so I felt like it could be cleaner. They didn't keep my father very clean. I sometimes heard them talking very mean to him. Like when my father would call me on the phone, I could hear them in the background, and it wasn't pleasant. He was discharged today. After he got home and started to tell us more of what he had to endure, I felt like I had to make a review. Might I add that I’ve never left a review about anything but you cannot mistreat people or not provide the proper care for people that need help. He was discharged from the hospital after surgery and was unable to bear weight on his leg. While hospitalized he used a bed pan for this reason so he thought that he would do the same at the rehab. He ring his call bell and told the staff that he had to have a bowel movement and requested a bed pan. He was then told by staff member “well, I don’t know know what you’re going to do then” so he had to go on himself. I called that night and the following day the administrator Letitia did return our call to address the issue. She asked who the staff member was that said that to him but my mom and I weren’t there at the time and my dad didn’t know her name or what time it happened. We still don’t know if it was ever addressed. She then proceeded to tell my mom that the staff said she was being difficult which I didn’t know. There’s also been times that he’s ring his call bell and no one showed up. I was there recently and I had to help him to the bathroom. As I was helping him he accidentally ring the bell and a CNA did come and say she was giving another patient a bath. My dad said he ring the bell hours ago before I got there and no one ever came. I’m convinced that she only showed up then because I was there. We were also told that that he would get a bath every other day. My dad just informed us tonight as my mom was bathing him that he only showered about 3 times during the entire admission. He also has a rash on his bottom and genital area that my mom is trying to treat. In addition we don’t that think that the proper wound care was provided. My mom was cleaning and dressing wound on his foot and it looks horrible. Bottom line, there’s no accountability. You try to inform higher ups of what’s going on and they do nothing about it or they make it seem as if they’re doing something but they don’t. There’s no way that the issues are being addressed if it continues to happen. It seems very unorganized and no one seems to care. I’m glad that he’s finally discharged. We should’ve had him moved in the beginning. My dad has been in a rehabilitation facility before but has never experienced anything so terrible or been treated terribly. In my opinion it’s pure negligence. I would not recommend. If you or a loved one is been sent here I would reconsider! [review] => My mom was admitted into this dump of a facility after being discharged from the local medical center for instant rehabilitation. The first red flag for me was the time that my mother arrived at the facility a little after 9pm (WITH OUT HER MEDS THAT SHE NEEDED RIGHT AWAY). Around 12:30 am I called video chat to check on her. She was definitely not a happy camper! She was already disgusted and ready to leave the facility. Apparently she had been placed in a run down run with a roomy who cried all night long out of despair. On top of that, my mom had been holding her urine for about 2 hours. No bedside commode had been offered to her as she no longer had use of her left arm or left leg due to having two strokes. No one came in with a bed pan or anything. She had not been turned over in hours (this causes pneumonia in most patients if they are not being moved often). This is probably why this facility has a 92% pneumonia rate! And no one had checked her blood sugars since she arrived, as she is a long term diabetic. I decided to call the nurses station and request that someone take a bed pan into the room and allow my mom to relieve herself. Holding your urine cause UTIs (Urinary Tract Infections). How do I know this? I'm a certified medical assistant at an urgent care and see this all of the time. The night charge nurse answered the phone and eventually caught an attitude with me because I requested that my mom be provided a bed pan ASAP. This facility false advertised that it is an 24 hour facility. The facility has flyers on the doors with visitation rules and hours, however no one can get it due to Covid. Which is very understandable, but I feel like after speaking with charge nurse and admins that this is a way for them to all be lazy in peace. After hanging up in total shock that I was talked to in such a manner and not being able to get in contact with my mommy for 2 hours after my request, I decided to drive away from my home and kids at 4:30 am to make sure my mom was ok. I waited in the parking lot until 8:13 am to talk to Administration about the incidents and apparently she did not care. I was told "Well you can come get her, when will you be here?" My heart dropped and I knew then it was time to check my mom out of this God AWFUL place. I wouldn't admit my dog Troy into this place. Please keep your loved ones AWAY! [review] => This place is intolerable! We had our Nanny in for a few days and they couldn't get anything correct!!! It is dirty and smelly. The staff could care less if you are a patient, resident, or a visitor; they will still ignore you just the same. The level of disorganized chaos was almost laughable, except that it was directly effecting my loved one. She slept on a broken bed for several days. We asked time and time again for it to be fixed or if we could even contract someone to come in a fix it. Every time we were told that a "ticket" had been placed for the order or "maintenance wasn't in". When a call was returned, they said that the bed had been swapped out. I asked Nanny if it had been done when I came to visit, she said no. I checked the lower part of the bed and it still wouldn't move. Her phone was to be hooked up two days after her check-in, it was a weekend so that was understandable. However, that day the phone was not hooked up so I questioned the nurse during my visit. "Maintenance is already gone" was all I got. The next day I was told that her stay was too short to justify and that there must have been a "misunderstanding". That is not even the worse of it!! She is on regular breathing treatments, every four hours. It is preventative care, NOT "as you need it". She didn't get most of her treatments and had episodes there that could have been prevented if the staff had been competent enough to relay messages or care for their patients. There were many other problems with lack of information, attitudes, and and even basic care taking. I could go on and on. The main point being, if you care for someone, do NOT take them here. Worst establishment regarding anything that I have ever stepped foot in. She is paralyzed and totally reliant on others to care for her. They don't give her her medication on time, and take half an hour to respond to her calls to the nurses station. She also has a roommate who intercepts the attendants when they do come claiming that it was she who called them. This puts her life in danger. Staff is very unorganized and will not own the problem. My father in law was there for 4 months and passed on in their care. Their billing department had the nerve to ask about how the bill was going to be handled on the day of his passing. Also the worst is that the diamond wedding ring he was wearing has disappeared after his passing. No record of jewelry received from the funeral home. Deeply saddened by this whole situation. [review] => This is one of the worst nursing homes I've been to. unfortunately for my mom, my siblings and I made a bad and regretful decision to make this nursing home her residence. My mom had a feeding tube and those lazy incompetent people never fed her on time sometimes skipped her meals. When my sisters and I would visit my mom her stomach was always growling, when we asked them when was the last time she was fed they would always say oh we were coming to feed her next. If we wasn't there I'm quite sure my mom was not fed. once they even given her expired food in her feeding tube. My sister took the can out of the trash, just to look at it and noticed the expired date, when she asked them about it they gave all kinds of excuses how it "mistakenly" happened. When my mom was sick we had to tell those dummies she needed to go to the emergency room. she contracted a disease called C Diff while in their care because their Nurses who handle my mom feeding tube wasn't clean in handling it, they would give her tap water from the bathroom where other elderly people used the bathroom and leave feces on the faucet. we complained but they seem annoyed by the complaints and made more excuses than was necessary. Eventually she developed pneumonia while in their care. again those lazy incompetent nimrods didn't notice she had a fever and a bad cough we had to alert those idiots that our mom appeared sick and requested that she be taken to the hospital, where doctors told us she had pneumonia and it spread to her lungs and she passed away a few weeks later. In Warner Robins Rehab Nursing Home my mom went through a lot from starvation to bed sores to being left in a dark room to contracting C Diff and pneumonia to eventually dying. Yes I blame that nursing home for her death. They did not properly take care of her. And how I know they wasn't feeding her because when we changed her feeding tube to continuous feeding her stomach no longer growled. So those excuses they gave us about why her stomach growled so often was a bunch of bull. If you love your parents don't send them to Warner Robins Rehab Nursing Home, especially if they are immobile and can not speak.
